I've blogged on newspaper sites, but never on my own. I'll try to update at least 3x weekly. But first a little about me....
I'm a single parent of two teenagers and one twenty-two year old. The teenagers are BOTH girls; lucky me! Really, they're not so bad. We're struggling away in Harrison, Michigan, barely scrapping by each month.
I work at the Clare County Cleaver as a reporter, and I also work part-time for PMP sub (a/k/a "Pimp" sub :-)) and the Census 2010 - but don't even get me started about that job!
A senior at U of M Flint, I am just finishing up and finally receiving my bachelor's degree in social science. Should be working on articles and my final paper in Marxist Political Theory...very interesting class.
In my spare time, I play guitar and try to sing; I used to be very good at both, but with age and lack of time to devout to this pasttime, well...I do perform with Exit One Mile, which is the "teacher band" at Harrison Community Schools. We perform twice yearly at the Middle School and High School Mock Rock and are featured on YouTube.
I love music, horses, dinosaurs, writing, and reading.
